Painful service from Takealot.com

I returned something I bought. I was told they had received the item back on the 25th of June. They said it takes 1 to 3 working days to process. A refund would take 5 to 7 working days to go back into my bank account. On the 24th of July I got an email saying I have a credit with them and I must use it to buy something. I do not want to buy any thing from them and I want my money in my bank account. This is pathetic service. They don't answer their phones and take days to respond to facebook messages.
