Paid for a used item from takealot

My son ordered four electric-two-plate stoves from takealot. Upon delivery, one of the packages was dilapidated and wrapped with a clingwrap. When we asked the driver to return the package he informed us that he cannot take it back without an instruction from Takealot therefore we should complete a return form and send it to takealot. When we open the packages, the item that was wrapped was a used stove with rusted plates and scratches.All the writting was scratched off. It was disgusting. We took pictures of all the items received including the used stove.A return form was completed and a call was made to Takealot's client services, they acknowledge receipt of the form and informed us that Takealot will send a driver to collect the item. Four days later my son received an email from takelot declining to replace the item because it was used and opted to return the item back. R999.00 was spent to buy a used item from takealot.
