Organized by one wing penguins...
I pre-ordered a game. Nothing to complicated. So on the day of scheduled arrival I waited for the usual SMS telling me that the product is on it's way. At 11.00 I logged in and saw it was due to be delivered a week later so I contacted the call center. The lady kindly informed me that all games would be delivered by 17.00 that day. So instead of leaving for home at 12.00 I sat and waited. Then I received an SMS saying it will be delivered on Monday. This surprisingly angered me greatly as it completely destroys the point of a pre-order. So I contacted the call-center again and the man said they changed the delivery as it was a commercial area and they don't deliver after 14.00 to these areas. After several arguments and phone cals he told me that I will have to go collect the package as they won't deliver it. So I went to the address they gave me to collect it, because of by electronic automation. However he gave me the wrong address, so after looking around for a long time I asked someone and they told me that they were not there anymore and had moved. So they gave me the location and I drove around some more. When I finally found the place the Mr Delivery lady was helpful and told me she couldn't understand why Takealot had contacted and said the order was changed as it was a pre-order. Which is the point of all this. Takealot merged with Mr Delivery is a convenient system, yet it is destroyed by human lack of common sense. There was no reason I had to make the amount of calls I did or drive around looking for places that you work with and don't even know where they are. Sort yourselves out. Mike
