I placed an order on Takealot on 29 November 2023, I was advised that my order was going to be delivered on 1 December 2023. Part of the order was eventually delivered on 5 December 2023. But the one item on the order has not been delivered to date (20 December 2023). I email takealot to enquire and Thandiwe apologised and advised that the order would be delivered on 19 December 2020. Again, today is the 20th, I have not received any communication from Takealot regarding my order and the delay. I even sent an email yesterday (19 December 2023) after I tracked my order and realised it hasn’t been shipped, requesting a refund, and still nothing. I am so disappointed in Takealot and how they have handled this matter, if they can’t hold their supplier accountable for a R195 item, how am I supposed to trust that if I buy an item worth much more, they will be able to resolve/handle the matter.
