Order nr ***9 lack of assistance and misleading

order was placed and paid on friday 8th june 2018. items were in stock therefore i proceeded with payment further to that delivery was due on the 15th june which was ideal. i receive a mail on 13th june indicating an item was not in stock and delivery would only happen on monday 18th june. this is misleading information as i only due to the date of delivery and the fact items were in stock. mail later the day after i lodged a complaint indicated that when i receive an sms on status of delivery i should contact takealot to speed up. this is appalling service. the company did not try by any means to speed up the process or to atleast deliver itema that were in stock. never again would i order from such a company. totally misleading and not willing to assist in rectifying or speeding up the delivery process ?
