Order not yet received after 2 weeks. Paid R4000.00

Placed an order on the 27 Nov 23 paid immediately. was told it will be delivered on the 5 December, which was my birthday( very excited). had to cancel my leave as I was super excited about this... later that day around 15:00 I called to find out where the driver is, guess what 😳 🤔....order was delivered in Benoni. Iam from Midrand, apparently the drive made a mistake..so they had to reschedule, which i understood coz I also work with people and sometimes we do make mistakes.

long story short on the 7 December I received another message at 06:37 that my order will be delivered before 17:00, I already canceled 2 days of my leave due to this....had to call around 14:00 just to check if they got the correct address....I got a huge suprise that there was no driver available, as soon as there is a driver they will let me know....I waited for almost 3 hours with no feedback from 5 diffrent Representative, Everyone (rep) kept on telling me diffrent story regarding the order. They last rep told me my order will be delivered before 09:00 the next day she will make sure that's the first pick up.

On the 8 December 06:38 got a message that my order will be delivered before 17:00 finally I was very happy...organizingtransportfor the goods to go home as its a huge order, .....made a follow up AGAIN only to get disappointed that the branch can't locate my order. they have to do a replacement. I asked the reps if I could fetch do the order as I am desperate, they told me No they don't allow Customers to they warehouse.

takealot is no longer the same. Now I have to wait for 3/5 working days to get my refund.

why taking so much order when you can't keep your promises? also no one will communicate with you regarding the reschedule.

am disappointed in myself. they said it will take 3-5 working days for my money to be paid back. I'll wait and see if they can actually keep to that promise
