Order not delivered because payment not allocated
The most shocking service received over the last couple of days! An order placed and PAID for a week ago (all goods in stock) not even authorised for delivery as yet because payment has not been allocated. This is totally unacceptable!<br> <br> To top it all off, when speaking to someone in the call centre yesterday I was advised to send through proof of payment and all would be resolved yesterday. Today I contact the call centre again and was told it will take up to 2 days for finance to allocate and only then will it be put into the delivery queue. Part of this order was a present for my daughter for a Christmas party tomorrow - this will now not arrive in time and means I am going to have to fork out more for another gift as well as the inconvenience of having to go to the shops. The point of purchasing on takealot is for convenience, but this has been an absolute nightmare.<br> <br> The attitude of the staff in the call centre was disgusting. Instead of trying to assist in resolving this I was told to just cancel the order - what kind of customer service is that! Please resolve this urgently!
Our finance team has confirmed that your payment has been authorised and we're liaising with our order fulfilment team to get confirmation on how soon we can get this delivery completed. We're also awaiting feedback from our tech team to confirm why this payment didn't authorise automatically and will revert back soonest. This matter should however not have escalated to this point and the issue should have been resolved when you first queried the delay. We'll address this with the agents who initially assisted you and take the necessary corrective action.
