Order not cancelled as requested

I Ordered an item bit then realised it was the incorrect item. I immediately selected the option to cancel the order and there was a message that I will be contacted however nobody contacted me. Now I got a message to say the order will be delivered to me. I don't want the item and want it cancelled. Please can someone assist to rectify this.
