Order COD only

I have been purchasing from Takealot for at least 5 years and didn’t have any reason to complain. Unfortunately, the delivery service you used on the 17 December is unprofessional and totally unreliable. It is unacceptable that: - You make no attempt to contact me regarding a delivery issue. (No missed call on my cell) And you deliver to an unknown person at a different address and once again SAY NOTHING to me about this. When I send a query through your website, after much difficulty, I am told that the matter is being escalated. Again, no mention of the “mess up” created by your delivery person. If this was a COD order, would you still have left the goods at a different address with a different person and said, “oh well, we’ll get payment later? How dare you treat my goods that I have already paid for, in this manner? and your website says “delivered” with a smiley face? You don’t even know what happened. This delivery company is exactly what the South African Postal Services is looking for. It is simple for me. When I get service like this, I do not deal with the company again. I would rate you ZERO stars and NEVER recommend you to anyone. Good Luck with you new “don’t give a damn” service policy
