Order canceled day before delivery

Ordered a rechargeable fan from takealot delivery was 5-7 business days. The day before it was suppose to be delivered takealot canceled the order without giving other options and blamed the supplier Cool solutions.. Why don't you get the product the day a person orders it? Why wait until day before delivery to cancel order. And now if you go on takealot the same fan has more than doubled in price.
