***** or Glitch – Takealot Used My Refund for Someone Else’s Order

I am shocked and furious at what has happened on my Takealot account.

I was expecting a refund (Ref: MRRN-SVZE6-ZQZQ), but instead of me using it, a *****ulent order or system glitch occurred. My Takealot Credit was used to pay for an order (Order #***) delivered to a completely different person in Pretoria (“Nicolas”), while I never placed this order.

What makes this worse is that I did not receive any SMS notification as I usually do for every order — which raises serious questions about whether this was a hack or a Takealot system failure.

I demand:

An urgent investigation into whether this was ***** or a Takealot system glitch.

A full refund of R879 into my account.

A clear explanation of why I was not notified and how my account was misused.

This experience is frightening and has shaken my trust in Takealot. I expect urgent feedback and resolution.
