takealot is ridiculously unreliable, their lack of communication over and over again is a true reflection is the capetonian call center attitude.

All of the staff that work in their administration department are unreliable and have zero sense of accountability.

I understand and that after I place an order one or two items may not be available but he decent thing would then be to COMMUNICATE WITH ME and tell me exactly what it is that is wrong and that my 'promised (they use that word very lightly) date' is no longer applicable and ask me if I want to change my order or if I am happy with the date being moved SEVEN DAYS LATER. Instead they say nothing, don't update my app(which defeats the purpose of an apps convenience) and expect me to call after them all the time to learn that my 'promised' date has now changed.

& the thing is, this wouldn't have been an issue if their staff blatantly didn't lie to me and assure me that my order would arrive today (02/02/2017) while the other staff I spoke to today tell me a different story and try to shift accountability.

this isn't the first or second time I've had bad experiences with takealot, but I'm all about supporting Proudly South African brands - I now feel vindicated when saying that we literally have the worst customer service ever.

i have entire chains of emails where they either lie or attempt to 'escalate', which is another term for 'I don't feel like dealing today, I'll add it to my TL's list of escalation and poor excuse calls'.

& by by the way- I still haven't heard back from Noxolo or Imtiyaaz as promised in my email chain below. & my mobile number is ALWAYS ON

disgusted!
