One week and still waiting for product
I ordered a bike rack from Takealot last Tuesday morning (8th Dec). It says that Standard delivery is usually around 2 days if you live in a main center. Delivery date was Friday and nothing showed up. Well I live in Somerset West which is 60km from your warehouse. If I had known that it will take you a WEEK to get the product to me I would have gone to collect myself. <br> <br> I have been promised by Marwaan and Kelly Lindeboom that my product will be delivered today before 5pm (14 Dec) but still nothing. Extremely annoyed with Takealot especially when they values are FAST and SIMPLIFY, well this has been nothing but SLOW and COMPLICATED. I will not recommend Takealot to any of my friends.

We apologise for not delivering your parcel to you as expected and for the annoyance and frustration this has caused you. This order is fulfilled from our Johannesburg DC as we do not stock this item in Cape Town, therefore an additional day or two is required to allow for transport between our DCs. This is however not an excuse for missing your delivery date. We've instructed our complaints team to liaise with the responsible departments to get clarity on the reason for this delay.
They'll be in touch with feedback as soon as possible and will make sure that your parcel is prioritised for delivery.
