Old and Used Pressure Cooker

I bought a Phillips pressure cooker as a present for my wife. Only to open the parcel and find an old, used and not working pressure cooker in the box. It wasn't even washed; it had food particles inside and the outside and the inner pot had dents. Some of the components were missing. When I returned it, I was told the 5 days have elapsed so, it cannot be returned. I feel cheated.
