Nutribullet purchase, wanted a different colour before item was delivered but was told the price had increased and would need to pay in the difference.

Very unhappy first time Takealot.com online shopper!! I purchased a Nutribullet and before the item was delivered I emailed and called the customer service dpt to ask if they could change the colour of my order only to be told that I will have to accept the item first and then do an exchange online.The item will then be collected and taken in for inspection before a new one could be delivered. Once I received the item, I called in immediately and asked if the item could be exchanged for a different colour, I offered to deliver it to the warehouse myself to be exchanged. I was told that the price had now increased, I will have to be credited and would need to repurchase the item in the colour I now wanted and pay in the difference.All of this in one day and I can still not exchange an unopened item without paying the full price WOW, in store shopping is a whole lot more convenient than this and I would not have been told to pay in the difference as my proof of purchase would suffice. I will never purchase anything at Takealot.com again!!
