NOT VERY HAPPY WITH SERVICE
I ordered a birthday gift on the 23rd of March for a friend of my daughter and stated 7-10 days for delivery, but now after more than 10 days still not gift. Then I ordered books for my boss, stated 48 hours delivery, this was ordered on the 2nd April, still not books. I am really not impressed with Takealot's service, I have ordered from them for the last 8 years and never have I experienced such bad service from them. I did only after asking receive a mail to say the dvd has been delayed from supplier and the books are send from the Johannesburg warehouse. But I still do not know why it is taking so long. Very, very disappointed.

This really doesn't sound great at all & we're sorry for letting you down like this. The least we could've done was inform you about any expected delays, rather than you having to come to us for an update. We'll get our complaints team manager to address this with the departments involved & will do everything we can to get your parcels delivered to you as soon as possible.
Our guys will be in touch as soon as we've made the necessary arrangements to set this matter right.
