Not refunded after 2 weeks and expect a delay of at least another week

This complaint is coming from me an EX-Takealot fan purchased items from them for years.

We ordered an oxygen bottle for our sick child. Just before the delivery day they have called mentioning the bottle leaks do we want to wait for 2 weeks again to deliver or do we want a refund.

Due to time we have advised a refund as we can buy the bottle from around the corner for almost the same price

After a week or so we have realized the person has put this in for a credit and not money back. The funds did not show on our account. They advised they will change this as soon as possible and refund us

Waited another week and received an email that the credit is almost on our account as they have received the package back at their warehouse

This is 2 weeks later, they are still planning to give me a credit and not my money back as I required the bottle the day when they have supposed to deliver. I cant go to the shop around the corner as I need my refund to buy the replacing bottle

After my latest call today, they have advised they will do what they can to refund us as quickly ass possible, but if I knew that a refund takes a lot more the 2 weeks I would of never purchased the item from them to start with
