Not Honouring Warranty as Advertised on the Takealot Website.

I purchased a Mercer Laptop from Takealot in August 2022. The laptop has a 1 year warranty. I work in the IT industry for the past 25 years using laptops daily as part of my job.

I decided to purchase a Mercer Laptop for R2499 from Takealot as the specifications are decent for the price.

Unbeknown to me, this laptop is of cheap quality.

After 5 months of daily use, the screen has a bubble.

It was returned to Takealot. Aazam K refused to credit me stating that I broke the laptop.

What utter nonsense!

The laptop is cheap quality.

All I want is a credit on my Takealot account to purchase a more expensive laptop from them, yet Aazam K states that I damaged the laptop.

I want my money or I will take this matter much higher than Takealot.
