Not a Pleasant experience with takealot.

I never thought this day would come.

I had a order which was scheduled to be delivered at/before 3pm today. From around 12 mid day I have been going out to the balcony to have a look, maybe, just maybe my parcel would arrive before the 3pm deadline. Which I was patiently waiting for. 3pm came and I sat outside on the balcony, spectating the delivery vans pass by.

I counted 2 motorcycles, and three vans..

To my surprise, my phone never rang, which it always does. With a pleasant delivery guy saying he is outside with my parcel. Which in the past, was always the case.

Not today! A very ****ty experience if the bar is set to always receive a phone call. My account gets credited with the price of the item, less delivery (which nothing was delivered).

And due to the product being bought with a credit card, I am not allowed to get a refund, only credit. And surprisingly the product is no longer available to re-buy.. what?? The delivery guy still has my ****ing parcel, why not just deliver it the next day?

Why can takealot not just contact me, say that they were unable to deliver. Then make a plan to get my parcel to me the next day? Did I miss something?

I am afraid that is it for takealot. Not a pleasant experience today, this was the last straw that broke the camel's back.
