Not a good retailer for the environmentally conscious

<p>I have ordered several things at Takealot, and complained directly to them about the absurd amount of packaging material they use but I see no improvement. For example, a small mileage tracker, the size of a USB stick, in its own, perfectly protective little box was delivered inside another takealot box that was so unnecessarily large it filled just under half a black bin bag along with the protective plastic pillows... again unnecessary. Anyone who recycles will find this annoying. I'm seriously disappointed that South Africa's leading online retailer is so backward in terms of its environmental awareness. A company like takealot should be the vanguard for better practice: mindfull, resourceful and creative enough to resolve this simple issue. </p>
