Non Delivery of Goods.

Last week Saturday I purchased a text book online and received confirmation that it will be delivered by Tuesday. To my surprise instead, I receive an e-mail informing me that my parcel has already been delivered. I responded immediately to the e-mail enquiring about the delivered parcel, because my first instinct was that, they made a mistake. Kelly responded by telling me that my parcel was received by someone called Sydney and I told her that I do not have my book and I do not know any Sydney. I then called and spoke to David to enquire, and he promised to investigate and get back to me, but instead he sends me a message informing me that Sydney is the security guard. Since when does the courier company just drop off a parcel without confirming with the customer first ? As promised I was supposed to receive an sms with the delivery time and get a call from the delivery guy on delivery of the parcel. But instead my book that I paid for is out there somewhere with some random person and no one even cares. I am the customer, when I pay for something I expect it to be sent to me unless I advice otherwise. Can I please have the book that I purchased or my money back.
