No shipment update on Takealot website

I make use of Takealot every month and have no problems. I placed an order on 14 September and paid extra for it to be delivered today. After I called 4 times with no success and kept checking for updates or an SMS (which I usually get early morning after placing my order and delivery was free)I logged an question online and got a reply that my order will be delivered before 18:00???? This has never happened before, the delivery address is my work address and I leave at 16:20. The items I ordered is urgent that is why I paid extra and this process is becoming very stressful at this point.
