No refunds - No responses / follow ups - No deliveries

I have been using takealot.com services for a few years now and never have I struggled with their services, except this year. Poor Poor Poor customer service!

Early August I ordered 2 items, made a payment like a normally do my business with takealot.com and delivery was scheduled to be 10 August more or less. The date comes, nothing gets delivered. Turns out takealot.com ran out of stock and cancelled the order. It's fine, tried contacting them, then more or less 3 people responded by e-mail, and everytime I have to repeat my story, and forward the proof of payment. But no follow up, no calls, no refunds were made. The fourth and last person I contacted was Thabang Nkhahle. Same story. Even no response from customer service.

I am very disappointed because the things I previously wanted to buy was two seperate gifts that were needed by 26 and 29 August. We had to show up at two seperate times empty handed without any gifts. I feel embarassed. Today is the 28th of November, and still we do not have our money, and I still want to buy those two people gifts somewhere else.

The amount is not material, but still the service received was very poor. They are supposed to refund me R 345 and I also lost a discount voucher of R 150 due their error.
