No other option but to keep a damaged fridge

I order often from Takealot, this week I ordered a KIC fridge that came with scratches. I send pics and asked it be replaced on collection (as I need a fridge) but was told no, they have to collect and assess and only then can they send a new fridge. I do not have another fridge and I find it unacceptable to pay R 7000 for something that is damaged and am then forced to go without one while they assess this one.

I just cancelled 2 other orders - I have no choice but to keep the damaged fridge now. Will be buying elsewhere from now on which is sad because usually it's a good experience.
