No guaranteed express collection of items in stock

Ordered and paid for two items (hydration pack bladder and hiking pack) that were both indicated as in-stock and chose express collection on Sunday morning. Knowing it was only going to be processed Monday morning, and expected to collect at Richmond Park later the same day, because on the site it clearly states guaranteed express collection.

Waited for the sms or email, nothing....logged into my account this morning only to find under orders that my order has been delayed. No official communication from Takealot to say there was a problem with my order or why this is the case, and so much for guaranteed express collection when both items were supposedly in stock.

The reason why I purchased from them was both items were currently in stock and was to be available for collection the same day. Now to me it seems like false advertising and border line *****, as I have paid them for items and they have not held up their end of the deal.

My suggestion, do not support this company in any way, shape or form.

And clearly they are not a business to respond to reviews on Hello Peter.
