No Delivery, No remourse

Last Monday I placed an order on Takealot and was told it will be delivered on Friday. My daughters Birthday was on Saturday and being that the last time I ordered from them the order came on time I decided to buy her gift, it was scheduled to arrive on Friday before 5pm, I get an sms that it had been delayed, I then called to find out and to express my situation and the agent said she will call the courier service and call me back to which she didn't. She said the wrong address was on the system and they couldn't find it but when I pulled out my invoice it had the correct address on it so it beats me how they got the wrong address. I called again on Monday 4 December and spoke to them and asked for a manager to call me back as the agent said there's nothing he can do. To date no manager has called me and I have not received the product. Well done Takealot on spoiling my daughters birthday and my faith in you guys. I suggest if you don't want to get disappointed during this Christmas period then avoid ordering from this shallow company.
