No delivery

I am extremely disappointed with takealot. I’ve been ordering from them for years and this is the first time this has happened. I was advised that my parcel will be delivered 5 January 2021. I arranged for someone to stay at the address the whole day to make sure I get my parcel. The driver never arrived and never made an attempt to phone me. When I contacted takealot I was told that the delivery address was insufficient according to the driver. I do not understand this as its the same address that I have used for previously delivered parcels. How can they find the address all the previous times and then today not? I would like proof that the driver tried to phone me. I’m sure his cellphone records should be available? This will make that I never buy anything from takealot again! I can’t arrange for someone to be home everyday! I would appreciate delivery on the day specified initially.
