No communication, no delivery

I placed an order (***) and paid for it, Friday 5 July at 12:50. Much to my delight, it said estimated delivery was Saturday, 6 July. Usually, I receive an SMS just after 7am on the day of delivery, but it was already past 10:00 and I didn't receive any communication. I checked on my order and it wasn't even packed yet, later I followed up and 11:03 my parcel was shipped from the warehouse in transit to the courier facility - still no communication from Takealot. Because all of my previous order came before 13:00, I had the address as our work address, and we work until 13:00 on Saturdays. 13:31 I received an SMS saying my order will be delivered before 7:00pm. I tracked my parcel: 11:03: Shipped from warehouse in transit to courier facility 12:45: Delivery scheduled for 6 July between 8:00 & 19:00 13:30: Delivery rescheduled for 6 July between 8:00 & 19:00 13:30: Parcel arrived at courier facility 14:33: Out for delivery, Weltevredenpark At 15:00 I check on Waze, it is 9km to Weltevredenpark and if I leave, I will arrive there 15:15. I arrange with our next door neighbor to sign for the delivery. 16:33 I receive an SMS "we tried to deliver....but couldn't" Highly annoyed I checked my phone, no SMS, no call from the courier. I phoned the neighbor, no one was here. If someone actually stopped to see if we were here, it would trigger our alarm - no alarm. I reschedule delivery for Monday. I even tried to change the delivery address, but you don't have the option anymore. On Monday we checked our cameras, there was no delivery of any sort! On Monday, my parcel arrives by 10:00. The very friendly courier shows me how easy it is to get hold of me and what the procedure is when they can't deliver - they have to call me! I am a huge fan of Takealot and have never before had any issues. If you have a 5-7 day wait, they usually deliver earlier. I tried to contact Takealot directly, but there are no contact details for them.
