No communication from takealot about return

I logged a return for a security camera which didn't work. It wouldn't connect to my phone. It's a Samsung s21 plus and has no problem connecting to other devices. I logged a return but got no response. In the past I have returned products that were defective or broke within the warranty period and had no problems then. What has changed and doesn't takealot see Amazon on the horizon?
