NO COMMUNICATION

Good day.

On the 19th February 2024, I submitted my request to become a takealot driver. I received an email stating that I must have certain documents ready and then I saw something which I do not really understand - in the email there stand that takealot have a limited number of session due to LOCKDOWN...

According to my calculations, all lockdown regulations in South Africa has been lifted. I then emailed takealot on 28 February 2024 and asked what this means. I immediately received an email from a Prudence.M saying that a recruiter will contact me via SMS soons as briefing dates becomes available - on the same date.

Today is 19 March 2024. It has been almost a month since I submitted my driver request...and I have not heard a single word from takealot.

I completely understand that takealot is a very lucrative company and are very popular. But what I cannot undestand is why can't takealot communicate with people like me and let us know what is going on.

I am very eager to start working as a driver, but I do not hear anything from takealot.

Some correspondence would be highly appreciated.
