Never using takealot again
First and last time using [URL Removed] Ordered a textbook on the 2 June 2015. My order tracking receipt says delivery would be on Monday 15 June. Phoned the Mr Delivery today (17 June) and they said they have not been given instruction for delivery. Phoned takealot and they said the book is still being ordered from the supplier, and was not even at the warehouse yet, but perhaps it will be by Friday. I was told about lead times and public holiday which is not an excuse. The public was yesterday, not in the week and half since placing my order. If you indicate a delivery date then you should honour that. This is complete disregard for the customer and no effort is being made to deliver the book to me sooner, because it is out of their control. Kalahari had far better turn around times and the standards have clearly dropped since the merge.
