Never purchase an appliance from Takealot.

I will never in my life order an appliance from takealot again. This people don’t know the meaning of customer service. No callbacks, no emails, no follow ups nothing. I ordered a TV, which was paid in full 7 days ago. The order was scheduled for delivery on Wednesday Nov 29th. I was informed after inquiring why my Tv was marked “lost in transit”, that the driver was hijacked. This may have been the case which is unfortunate, although a new order was scheduled for Friday Dec 1st. I took an unpaid leave day to avail myself for Friday. Friday came and passed, no update, no sms, no email, no tv. Today is Saturday, up until now no one has made contact with me via a call to apologise for the inconvenience. Takealot has failed dismally where customer service is concerned. I feel that I should be compensated for this poor display of what should be common courtesy. I want my TV or refund my money
