my work against yours

I purchased a pair of Asics Gel Lyte Mens Running for R999 on 11 March. The item was delivered in good time, however the fit of the shoe was not correct for my husband. He wore them for literally 30 -45 minutes maximum and was on the treadmill at the gym. He did not walk outside the the shoe. They were not comfortable and I requested a return of the item for a refund. Unfortunately I did not take a photo of the shoes before putting them in the original box ready for collection by the courier. I do clearly recall checking the soles of the shoe[as I am aware that if there is visible wear or dirt the shoe cannot be returned] and the shoes were clean. My return has been rejected. I responded to the email received advising them of the above to which I have not had the decency of a response and today have received the shoes back. It is my work against TAKEALOT.COM and as I said I unfortunately do not have proof that the soles were clean. I certainly would not have returned the shoe if they were visibly dirty underneath as I am aware of the policy. I do expect this matter to be resolved, the shoe returned and a refund provided. I wonder if TAKEALOT.COM will respond to this????
