My Takealot nightmare

On the 13th December I made an online order at Takealot the tracking information said that my order will be shipped on the 19th and I will receive it on the 24th. It was an impulse purchase and a few hours later I decided to cancel it. I messaged them on Twitter on the 14th and asked if I could cancel my order and receive a refund, I knew that this process wouldn't happen overnight and I was fine with that, however I never thought that it would take so long either. The person responding to my messages on Twitter told me that I have to wait until the order is shipped to cancel the order( I did not understand this as my order was still at the Takealot warehouse when I asked for it to be cancelled and was only leaving on the 19th). On the 19th I messaged them and asked could I now cancel my order as it had been shipped they said that I could and it would take some time for my order to be processed and for me to be refunded, again I was okay with this. The next day I received a message saying that they couldn't cancel my order and that I have to wait for a delivery message and then try and cancel my order again. I received a delivery message on the 21st yet again sent a message to cancel the order, the returns were processed and I received the returns email. Now today the 24th of December I received another delivery message saying that my goods (that is suppose to be returned) is on its way. I messaged Takealot AGAIN and asked why are my goods still on its way and they said I can refuse the order and they will take it back. My patience is SO thin!!! Why would they say that my order has been cancelled when the guy just arrived with my order?! I am so, so very annoyed because now how long is it going to take to process my order and get my refund?? Why couldn't they just tell me in the beginning that I would have to wait for the order to get delivered??? Why would they waste their own time like this when they knew from the very, very beginning that I wanted to cancel the order. I am done with Takealot and I will be telling everyone I know what terrible services they provide and what ******** they are. Everyone should stay away from Takealot!!!
