On the 13Dec, I had ordered one Headboard Queen size for R1997 & an Umbrella for R898. The umbrella was delivered on the 23/12/2019 & the Headboard was canceled on the 23/12/2019 by Takealot sighting the supplier does not have, yet the system now is showing this Headboard available at retail price of R2997.

This is an unfair retail practice which is ugly & it is not favorable to the end-user. No one had asked my willingness to wait for another one, at the time of delivery for the same sale amount, I had initially purchased it for. Even at the time of purchase, everything was showing as available.

I am unhappy & dissatisfied with how Takealot had handled my order. I am now told that I should pay in the difference(R1000)if I want the same order(Headboard Queen size).

The question is why did Takealot show the Headboard as available at the retail price of R1997 only to say it’s no longer available on the 10th day, but it’s only available at normal price.?
