Missing Part

I will never purchase from Takealot again. I ordered two awnings, one 3 meters and the other 4.5 meters. Due to the Cape Town storms, I couldn’t install or open them immediately as they are large and I’m not very tall. When we finally opened the 4.5-meter awning, we discovered it was missing a bracket. I requested a replacement for the missing bracket, but Takealot declined, citing damaged parts. We installed the 3-meter awning without issues, but when we moved on to the 4.5-meter one, the missing bracket was still a problem. Despite only opening the box to check the contents, Takealot never acknowledged the missing bracket in their response and no recourse was mentioned, only the decline with pictures irrelevant to my escalation.
