Missing Out on a Daily Deal

I use the Takealot App on my phone. On yesterdays Daily Deals (18/2/2015) there was Phillips Portable Radio AE1125 on the Daily Deal for R299. I added the item to my Cart from the Daily Deals section and immediately proceeded to checkout. When I arrived at checkout the price had increased to R 429 so I did not conclude the transaction as this was not the price I had agreed to when I clicked on the item. At no point did it say out of stock or that it was no longer a daily deal.I then emailed customer service with the issue above and there response was it was no longer a daily deal and it was out of stock. I am not sure if this means it was out of stock in takealots stock or out of stock from the supplier. So i went back to takealot app at about 5pm yesterday and I saw the product still on the app showing the R299 price but it said Supplier Out Of Stock. When I then added the item to my cart it then showed Stock In JHB but at the normal price of R429.<br> This has never happened before and i have been online shopping for many years on Kalahari, Ebay and Amazon and never experienced this before. I have not received further responses to my emails since yesterday. Can someone explain
