Missing order items from Takealot, with no assistance updates on this

I have recently placed an order with Takealot on the 4th of January 2025. Order recieved however with a missing item inside from the list of items ordered. Collected the package on Sunday, and i emailed them about the matter and sent pictures of the consent. I have not received any feedback from them since. Their procedures say "contact us within 7 days " and I am wondering if they plan to allow this time frame to lapse before they respond to me and give a different story or what.
