Misleading / ********** advertising

<p>I ordered a Snomaster fridge from takealot's daily deals yesterday, it was advertised as a R10,800 fridge marked down to R7,200, with an image of the fridge included. The image of the fridge is that of the latest model (Snomaster BD/C-60) whilst the fridge that I have actually purchased is the BD/C-60RS, an older model and significantly lower specifications that the fridge advertised in the picture. In addition the BD/C-60RS has never retailed for anything above R8,000, so the false picture and the misleading claim about the value of the fridge on sale are both unacceptably misleading and bordering on *****. I have cancelled my order and requested a refund but this is not the point, I have ordered a frontrunner fridge slider for my vehicle to match this fridge which I will have to return, and I now need to find another fridge before we go away on our trip. Will not deal with Snomaster or Takealot again - Snomaster cannot remove themselves from this problem, they have chosen to distribute their product through Takealot, they must take responsibility for this as well.</p>
