Misleading adverti*****t

<p>Last Friday I saw the special price on Womens' Adidas Breeze 101 2 shoes, as I was researching prices to buy my wife a new pair of running shoes. It was advertised for R455, from R799. I immediately added the item to the cart, and when I tried to check-out, the price reverted back to R799 without any explanation.</p> <p>I phoned the helpline, and the lady helped me to escalate the problem to the next level after she couldnt help me. She also saw the add depicting the price as R799.</p> <p>I was sent an email the next day, good quick response, saying that Addidas only gave that price for a certain amount of shoes sold.</p> <p>According to my limited knowledge of the Concumer Protection Act, I believe that if a product is advertised for a specific mount, that product should be sold at that amount. When i read the adverti*****t, there was no indication of "t&C's" or"just for limited amount".</p>
