Messed up order

I bought two Rosalynn pedestal on takealot site and the order was confirmed. Two days later they cancel one item without talking to me and they then deliver one item today. I refused to acknowledge the order because I bought two and I expected two items. Who in their right mind buy one pedestal?

Reached out to them on their socials (Twitter). I’m being forced to cancel the order when they allow me to buy without issues. Now they’re telling me that their sellers is out of stock. I said I’m willing to wait for sellers to have stock. They’re not giving me any alternative and they’re pushing me to cancel the order and buy when they’ve stock.

I asked if the price would be the same because the pedestal are on special now, no answer except that I should advise them if they should cancel the order. This is terrible service at it’s best. Why take order if you don’t have stock. Methinks that they wanted to check if there’s appetite for the product and return it to normal price ASAP.
