Made a complaint for harassment with takealot and they did nothing

I am terribly disappointed in Takelot. Three weeks ago I had my package delivered to me where I was harassed by one of Takealot’s drivers. I paid for delivery, however when the driver handed my package over to me he was extremely upset and aggressive. It seems like he was not happy delivering my package to the address that was chosen. He then proceeds to shout at me and shoves the huge box right at me. As a woman living in South Africa this was extremely unsettling. Never did I ever thing something like this would happen to me. I was taken aback and could not respond in the moment because i was trying to register what just happened.

I then called takealot to lay a complaint. I spoke to two reps. One over a call and the other via email. They assured me that this matter will be seen to but they clearly ****. I received no real apology. No feedback and no compensation.

This is what takealot does. You buy from them they take your money and pretend to have you interests at heart however my safety was compromised due to their business and they thing absolutely nothing on it.

I’m alone at home with a 4 year old trusting this company to delivery my package, it gets delivered but I get harassed as well and this is just takealot saying “you know it’s fine you called us to lay a complaint we tell you that we will look into this but we actually do nothing and we don’t care hoping that you will forget and this will blow over”.

I would have left this aside but I was disrespected and harassed. Your customer service sucks! I urge people to take caution when shopping with takealot. We all know there is a new alternative out there but we still support takealot. I don’t understand why when they do not care about their customers.

I feel like it’s time we all shop and the world’s most customer centric company. I don’t want to mention names. But it’s definitely not takealot I guess we can all guess who it is
