Mad as Hell
I ordered a Scoll Electronic Foot File on takealot on 1 December 2015. I ordered that specific one because it was in stock at the Cape Town Branch which means I will get it soon. My delivery tracker clearly states that the order was to arive on 15 December 2015. I have mailed the company and all they can say to me it is out of stock. The reason for ordering it so that I can get it the 15th is because it is a birthday gift to a friend. They are not able to tell me when it will arrive and did not think to let me know about the situation. I AM VERY UPSET!!! My friend is leaving this weekend and I have absolutely no gift to give her.

Thank you for taking our complaints team's call to clarify how orders that are paid via EFT are processed. As explained we are only able to process an order once payment has been received. EFT payments can take a few days to reflect depending on your bank's processing time. Since you only completed payment a few days after your order was placed, and taking into consideration that the stock has to be transported from JHB to CPT, your original delivery estimate of 15 December was therefore extended. Your delivery date will also be confirmed with you via SMS once it has been confirmed and scheduled.
Our team is checking on the status of your order with the relevant departments to see how soon we're able to deliver your parcel to you. They'll be in touch with you again the minute they've received feedback.
