Lying about no stock to make you pay more after sale

Not the first time I ordered something on sale. Order is then cancelled saying no stock. The product is still in stock if I want to buy it now but at the full price and not the sale price.

Clear manipulation to take more money from customers by lying that there’s no stock and expecting you to buy it at full price now thinking you needed it so you’ll pay extra anyways.
