Lost my parcel and can't get it back for more than a week, still waiting.

I ordered a Detective Pikachu set for my brother's birthday a week ago. They would have delivered it the same day, but they were too late, so they took the parcel back with them. The next day the courier delivered it to the wrong address. Now they can't get it back from the person they delivered it to, and my brother still doesn't have his birthday present. I call them every day, and all they tell me is that they are trying to get the parcel back and that they will get back to me, but they can't get it back. Someone else has the item I paid for, and I can't seem to get Takealot to get it back or replace it.
