LIES AND INCOMPETENCE FROM TAKEALOT!

I generally have a good experience with Takealot but this was just the worst. I purchase an item, fetched it when it was ready and when I got home I immediately tried using it and it didn't turn on. The next day I returned it to the pick-up point. 2 days later (today) I get a mail saying the item is out of stock from the supplier. So I go to the Takealot app and see the item in stock from the same supplier and this confuses me. so I reply saying, it is in stock why the lie? they just respond saying its not available and we have credited your Takelot account. They didn't ask if that's the preferred outcome because my preferred outcome was a replacement of the item. They just chose an outcome for me.

I need the item ASAP but there's no urgency from them whatsoever They **** about an item being out of stock only because it is now more expensive than when I purchased it and now they credit my Takealot account when I would have preferred a refund to my purchase method so I can purchase the item elsewhere due to the incompetence and lack of help from them.
