Lies about delivery, still not received product expected a week ago

Ordered an item on the 27th of November with the notion that it was going to be delivered the following day as it was urgent. Delivery the next day i.e Wednesday the 28th of November was indicated on the order details.

Made special arrangements to have someone at the address to sign for me, and of course it did not come. I phoned customer service and was assured 100% that it would be delivered on the 5th of December (today), which is absolutely insane. With the delivery expected today, I logged into my account to track and see that the order is now only going to be delivered on the 7th of December.

Shocking service from Takealot. Anyone with a brain will know that it will not be delivered on Friday the 7th, and the matter of urgency/reliability is laughable at this point.
