Late delivery sent to wrong address

I would like to lodge a complaint regarding my order .

I placed the order for the book at 8:16am on the 30th of June, 2015.I was told it would be delivered by the 30th of July. This date came and went. On Saturday the 1st of August I made an enquiry into the status of my delivery. I was told that [URL Removed] would follow up on it. I then told the operator that the delivery address had to change as I was now on leave. She said that the Mr. Delivery guys would take care of it.

This morning, I got a text message stating that my delivery was on its way. I called the call center again and I spoke to Umar Moosa. He gave me the number for the Parow branch whom I then called ***) The ladies who I spoke to were very rude and uncooperative. I tried to call them 3 times and they were uncooperative, one even cut the phone on me. Just before 3pm the delivery guy called from my workplace to state that he is there with my parcel. I had to drive all the way across town to get to him in order to take delivery of it. This is not only a huge inconvenience but very unprofessional of [URL Removed]

I will not be recomending anyone I know to use your service, as I would not allow them to go

Hello john_howlett,

We're sorry for the inconvenience caused by not delivering your book to you on the promised delivery date. Had this been done you wouldn't have had such a frustrating experience. We've instructed our complaints team to find out why we missed the promised date and how we ended up delivering to the wrong address instead of the new one you requested. We'll also address the poor service you received with the relevant courier branch as this certainly isn't the kind of experience we wish any of our customers to have.

Our complaints team will be in touch with feedback as soon as they've been in touch with the relevant departments.

Sincerely,
