Lack of empathy

I ordered a number of things for a birthday present. It was scheduled to arrive on the 4th which was the day it was the day of the birthday. Anyway we phone only to be told sorry it won't be delivered today but tomorrow. I wasn't happy but these things happen. I now sit that the 5th when it was suppose to arrive it hasn't. I phoned again now apparently there were not enough drivers, I find this unacceptable as I had already been inconvenienced. However, my biggest irritation is when both yesterday and today that I will get communication as to what was happening and I get nothing by phone or email. Something would be nice.
