KSTAR and takealot

In November 2021 I purchased a KSTAR from takealot..I purchased the unit as I believed that what I read on the advert on takealot site that this product would keep me powered up during loadshedding. From November 2021 there was no loadshedding happening until February this year. When loadshedding did start up again the KSTAR kicked in giving me the power I needed to keep my router and TV powered up, the KSTAR did well during loadshedding giving me the full 2.5 hours that power was off with 2 bars left when power came back on. Until suddenly in April it was only delivering 45 minutes during loadshedding. So in April I sent it back to takealot, it was only when I received email from takealot mentioned that the returned unit was incomplete and missing a cable (I didn't realize there was a cable as my neighbour unpacked and connected the unit for me) The unit was then returned back to me and was again collected by takealot on the same day with cables and instruction booklet included on collection. I believe the unit was sent to supplier for assessment. The unit was then sent back to me minus cable and instruction booklet making the returned unit incomplete on delivery back to me. From day 1 of returning the unit to takealot I asked for a refund as in my thinking that I did not get what I paid for...I purchased a power saver to keep me powered up during loadshedding...not a black box from hell that only supp**** 45 minutes instead of how it worked when it was put in use when loadshedding started up again. In September 8th I personally took the unit to takealot depot in Malmesbury due to the fact they returned an incomplete item...missing cables and instruction booklet. To date nothing has been resolved...the original return in April was 5 months into warranty ...takealot now wants to send this KSTAR back to me...the KSTAR has been more in takealot possession than it has been my possession. Where do I go from here...that Blackbox from hell cost me just less than R2 000.00 I am not made of money. I then suggested a credit for the unit ..they did not entertain the refund request Thank you.
